Somewhat light in color for your typical porter - a deep red. But who cares, it tastes great! I got over my prejudice. This beer has a great flavor. Heavy on the tongue, malty sweet, and a nice ting in the finish (a Tettnang-type flavor). Real enjoyable. Improves with every sip.
Dark brown, nearly amber pour, nice roasty chocolate aroma, this one is a bit watery, I usually a huge fan of Left Hand put this one misses the spot. Way too much bitter, no complexity, and as it warmed it was almost a drainpour. Too bad.
Black of color with a foamy beige head. An aroma of prunes, coffee and molasse. A flavor of roasted malt, prunes and weak coffee.
