Historical Community Tasting Notes

355ml bottle from BeersofEurope. A mild, flavoursome, smooth and tasty dark beer. Chocolate and coffee and burnt toast notes. Gentle. Some ash in the finish. Hints of raspberry fruit in the middle. Enjoyable. Has a slightly indulgent feel. Minus points are that it doesnt have a wow factor - theres a sense of familiarity about it, and it doesnt do t
Great velvety, almost milky, med/full mouthfeel on this one with a sharpness at the end. The flavor and aroma were a bit muted with the choco coffeeness. Overall, kind of a ordinary drinker with the palate a standout feature.
Bottle. Pitch black beer with a strong light brown head. The aroma is light roasted oatmeal, and the flavour is roasted and smooth with a nice gentle bitter finish. Overall a nice smooth and lightly roasted oatmeal stout.
