2009 Vintage from Brewery Creek in Vancouver. Pours a murky orange amber with shaving cream thick tan head. Theres particulate floating in the glass despite a careful pour and carbonation is racing up the inside of the glass. Aroma is powerfully malty with caramel, yeast and some hops. Taste is wonderfully malty, bread-like, earthy. The carbonation
In short: A well brewed but very bland sweet, fruity and herbal amber ale. Beh. How: Bottle 375ml (cool looking chubby 375 that looks like less than a 12oz). Vintage 2008. Consumed when about between 1.5 and 2 years of age. The look: Almost clear light brown body, lots of small particles, very small beige head In long: Nose of brown-sugar based
Pours a murky reddish brown, thin beige head, and some lacing. Astringent aroma, like rubbing alcohol. Unfortunately, the taste is similar, somewhat off and on the bitter side. Creamy, almost buttery, on the palate.
