(bottle dated 05-2010) Without the yeast pour this pours a fairly clear light gold with a minimal white head and plenty of bubbles. Aroma of apples, clove, peppermint, bubblegum, baked sourdough bread, and some ripe bananas as well. Alcohol is apparent, but not incredibly intrusive, and theres a perfume-like character to the beer as well which I
Pours a nice somewhat cloudy amber with a thick, fluffy, somewhat persistent white head. Aroma is malty, fruity and just a bit yeasty. Flavor is definitely somewhat better than I expected - strong, malty, fruity, yeasty, a bit rubbery, with a hint of caramel and most enjoyable and lip-smacking! Taste is of very dark fruits. Aroma is somewhat of indistinct dark fruits. Palate is nothing sspecial rather carbonated, still a nice beer.
