Bottle. Pours pitch black. No head. Dark brown around the edges. Nose is roasted malt, coffee, burnt oatmeal, and dark chocolate. Taste is dark chocolate, roasted malt, light coffee, and vanilla. Body is medium and a bit oily. Not as rich as youd think for 10%ABV, but nice nonetheless. Finishes with more roasted malt and chocolate along with light
Pours black with a small off-white head. Not much to speak of as far as aroma goes, just a little roastiness. Very nice roasted flavor with chocolate mixed in and a slight hop bitterness in the rear of the mouth. Alcohol is slightly warming. A pretty decent brew.
Pours a dark dark brown and opaque. Smallish dark tan head. Aroma is burnt chocolate and the typical oatmeal going on. Flavor is oatmeal stout, some chocolate and almost a lacto note as well. Palate is slightly thin. This is ok but nothing great.
