Courtesy Dragonstout. Pours a very dark brown, almost black with virtually no head at all. The aroma is very rich and fills the air as soon as you crack the top off. Sweet cream and vanilla sugar abound with notes of butterscotch, cake batter, and chocolate. The aroma is powerful and sugary sweet. The flavor is rich as well of chocolate, caramel, b
22 oz bottle This was the latest release in the Blackwater series. After the Choklat I was prepared for something a bit over the top. This is almost exactly what that was. While a solid imperial stout the dominance of the vanilla and caramel keep it from being well balanced. Try it as a novelty but dont have expectations that are too high. Ar
Dark brown with small tan head. Intensly strong aroma of vanilla. Like fresh creme brulee, a sweet inviting dessert. Medium bodied vanilla flavor, nice solid bitter chocolate notes compliment the vanilla with a hint of butterscotch. Wow.
