This stout pours an almost pitch black color with a small, mostly diminishing tan head. The aroma is full of roasted malts and creamed coffee with a touch of chocolate added. UPDATED: JUL 7, 2003 Very nice, pours a very syrupy black, with a decent head. I smell a definite chocolatiness, with a bit of coffee, and cookie. Good sweet flavour, nice finish, and very easy to drink. Would make a nice accompaniment to anything dark chocolate, and is very reasonably priced for what you get.
UPDATED: DEC 1, 2007 Dark black color w/ smallish dark brown head. Aroma has roasted malts, coffee, vanilla, lots of creamyness and subtle sweetness, a hint of cherries. Flavor is malty and smokey, slightly sweet up front with a bit of bitterness towards the finish. Palate could be a little thicker.
