Bottle from Cost Plus. Popping the cap on my 62nd of the 65 beer styles! Opening the bottle gives a slight impression of skunkiness. Poured in a tall weizen glass, I get a pale straw color, very little haze, with a thin head. Still, theres a little weizen taste of banana and clove, and a bit of German hop, otherwise a very light beer taste.
Bottle. Pours a pale golden, light straw color with a very large continuous white head. Extreme carbanation. Good strong clove, spiced, yeasty aroma. Some flower scents. Very nice banana flavor. Fresh, smooth. Sweet vanilla finish. Didnt really see a big difference between a regular hefeweizen. Very enjoyable beer. Suprised.
UPDATED: NOV 23, 2005 This is so good, one feels like they have cheated on their spouse after finishing a glass of this sinfully tasty brew. Crisp, clean, filling, and downright heavenly.
