Aroma is heavy citrus floral hops. Rich caramel also present. Appearance is hazy dark copper with small white head. Taste is hops bitterness. Aroma hops present, grapefruit, citrus, floral. Similar to all Deschutes hopping. Nice light caramel malt flavors. Palate is medium. With the hops it is crisp but this beer does have some body. Hops bitternes
Crystal-clear, red-tinted brown ale. Adequate carbonation holds an eye-pleasing white head. Crystal malt nose with bland, sweet hops. Smooth, skim-milk consistency. Malt flavor that is quickly trumped by citrus, mainly grapefruit. Mountain crisp finish. If youve been there then you know... if you havent, then go.
12 oz. bottle Ar: Standard citrusy nose on this one. A bit muted. Ap: Mid-amber pour with 3/4" head. Decent retention, decent lace. T: Lots of caramel malt sweetness for an IPA, along with loads of bitterness. P: Medium body, somewhat sticky on the tongue. Medium carbonation. O: Not into this at all.
