Bottle. Brown color with a small off-white head that diminished slowly and good lacing. Complex sweet hop aroma. Medium to full body with a creamy texture. Full complex flavor with a moderate bitter finish. Very good strong ale.
Damn fine beer. I a big fan of Bear republic and figured I would try something different than my staby of Hop Rod Rye. This was a pleasant change! Yummy as could be. Beautiful color, wonderful lacing as usual. Good stuff!
Big red pour. Sweet, floral, caramel aroma. Great hop flavor backed by some sweet malt and bitterness. Fairly straightforward but satisfying. Dont know if Id call it a "Scottish Red Ale."
