Sampled during MN Gathering II in Maplewood, MN, and shared by BDR. From a 22-oz bomber as Stone XI Anniversary, pours a clear dark brown brew with an average sized beige head that slowly disappears to a fine ring. Aroma of citrus and floral hops, some roasted dark malts, dark fruits, roasted nuts and citrus. Taste is medium bodied, hoppy, with fla

An old Stone XI Anniversary from my basement. Made me realize how I have gotten away from hops oriented beers. At first it seemed jarringly hoppy but the creamy complexity soon won me over.
