Well, this was certainly a rating that took a while to formulate. Pours a nice rich golden color. Good head with sticky lacing. Very nice looking beer. While cold, this was ALL booze in the nose. I was unhappy that Allagash roached a bunch of their excellent tripel by spiking it with some of Kentuckys finest. Tasting this chilly brew simply r
Who was the fantastic RB Rater that sent me this First Batch Edition "Bottling - September 2004" of 9.5%abv Curieux? Please reveal yourself and beermail me! Poured a golden blond body with a fluffy white head. The aroma was immensely floral hits with vast perfumey notes Brenda first called this out. It was an oddly complex combination of oaked
GABF 2004 Deep straw in color with a slight haze and small white head. Aroma is of fruit,oak and spice. Flavor is of more oak,subtle whiskey with more fruit, finishign dry.
