Import at the LCBO (always nice to see a Carolus brew in there). Pours a cloudy golden colour with a huge foamy head that delivers good thick lacing. At first pour, I could smell lots of Belgian yeast, mostly smelling like a witbier. After breathing, the spices come out (with mild bananas and wheat) and the alcohol is felt. Pretty easy to drink brew for a beer brewed with four kinds of hop. I was expecting a bitter experience, it turned out to be a slightly more pleasant one. Once I started pouring this out of the bottle, it directly forms a firm, thick, huge head that last long enough. Aroma has bread, yeast and fruity hops. Colour is golden yellow, murky, means it b
bought at LCBO, Ottawa Pours pale hazy with beautiful thick white head the overall picture in my glass reminds me of a whit or Weiss. aroma shows signs of citrus texture is quite thin with a fizzy carbonation, which kind of turns me off for a 8% belgium beer. not my favourite, but still a great pick for the price.
