Appearance: slightly opaque rich amber. Coppery head fades to blotchy film with hints of orange pith hues. Swirls with shadowy lace but no real change in the head. Nose: like biting into whole red apples, skin and all. Melba toast crunches underneath along with thin sugar and maple crunchies. Apple and mandarin sweetness in front and middle. Orang
Slightly darker than the IPA from the same sampler. Same haziness with little head. It has a sweet smell/taste. There is a sugary grain taste that is not strong enough to cover the flavor of what i can only describe as well water taste (iron). It has a medium-light body more watery than any of the others by Breckenridge.
Bottle. Pours a murky amber-brown with a small white head. Sharp aroma, of malt, bready yeast, and a hint of citrus hops. Taste is light, of malt, caramel, citrus, and a hint of baking spices. Lingering light spiciness. Not bad.
