I wish they just turned the Santas private into their regular red ale. This always seems to have some diacetyl in the nose with a minor malt astringency. Caramel and butter palate with a mild bitterness. buttery and off finish.
Pours a real nice dark crimson. Sweet malt on the nose. Nice malt flavor but turns too bitter on the finish. Decent beer, but I would much rather drink a Troegs Hopback than this.
Aroma:malt and hops... Appearance:red with big head... Flavor:light carbonisation,caramel and toffee,small bitterness...
