Hop Horizons

Since I wont be having any beers tomorrow (friday) i figured i should get something decent for thursday. Pours a copper auburn that you can see through with decent beige head some lacing. The nose is plenty of belgian yeast and some ginger. Taste you get more yeast, some bannana and orange peel, some mild spiciness and the ginger lingers. Very

A clear amber body with a white head that had good retention and lace. Aroma had a strong ginger note and some nice caramel malts. Flavor was interesting ginger was very assertive and the malts although mild really enhanced the flavor of the ginger, Hops were slightly bitter, and the finish was slightly dry.

Pangaea has a mild ginger character, but the aroma finishes with a musty, "off" smell. The beer definitely presents a mild rice body, there are only faint hints of ginger. Odd aftertaste. It could have been a lot better, interesting concept though.
