12 oz bottle, golden amber frothy appearance with little head. Aroma at first is kind of bland and doughy, then gets a little sweeter and maltier as the drink warms. Taste is pretty bitter throughout as expected but with a good malty sweetness balancing it out. Palate is full and malty, aftertaste very bitter. Good representation of an English Pale

Bottle. Pours hazy orange/amber with an off-white head. Sweet, candy citrus aroma with caramel overtones. Flavour is dusty, sweet, malty and a bit tart. Reminds me of some kind of hard candy. Fruity notes in the background. Bitter liquorice finish on a malty background and a lingering tartness. A really nice beer I liked the hard candy bit. 19.02.
