Historical Community Tasting Notes

Preserved from the RateBeer community archive (circa 2000โ€“2018)

Light copper colour with a thin head on top, pretty clear for being bottle conditioned. Mostly citric, spicy hops in the aroma - airy and slightly cherry-fruity. Reminds me very much of a good german Kellerbier. Toasted malt flavours, rather restrained spicy and herbal hops. Just a little yeast character, mostly through esters. Tastes a little rais
Pours hazy orangish with a light beige head. The aroma has light toasted malt and light crackers. Medium crisp boyd with micro sharp carbonation. The flavor starts off with a light malt presence and lots of phenolic spice. The finish is very phenolic and fairly clean. Okay beer.
Poured clear, light amber color with no head. Aroma is of toasted malt, the most appealing aspect of this brew. Dry astringent grassy hop flavor, minimal malt profile and light/thin palate with minimal carbonation.
