A serviceable but boring IPA. Im never going to prefer English-style IPAs to American, but this is pretty blah from any perspective. It looks fine - deep amber body with a foamy white head. Unfortunately, it goes right downhill when you smell it. Theres an almost cloyingly sweet medicinal note that really spoils things for me, but Im not a big
12 oz bottle pour. nice bubbly slightly hazy orange with a clingy lace off-white head. Innoffensive nose, some well hidden covert op citrus and not much else. Tastes of stale bread arrive at the front with a bit of bitter on the back end. Subdued. Very, very subdued. This one, while not bad, is definetly an all out blitz of mediocrity.
UPDATED: JUN 24, 2010 Light carmel, bitter & sour citrus, grass. Thin, watery body. Bitterness was a little troubling. A short venture from a macro.
