Good beer. Pours golden caramel, small head that disappears immediately. Nose is almost non-existent. Overall, a little underwhelming. No flavor of cocoa, but you can taste the honey and you get a hint of the ancho. Just a simple, good beer. I was expecting a lot more. Disappointed for sure, and wouldnt spend $14 on another bottle, but its a good b
Bottle; Pour is slightly murky gold with a frothy white head that retains fairly modestly into this glass. Grains, Honey, and a bit of vinousness on the nose. I find the bouquet on the nose to be more appealing than the flavor, honestly. The adjunct remains; the cocoa comes through down the line but not for a while during my session - the honey is
not quite wat i was expecting, pours a hazy golden color aroma is strong on the honey. if you focus on the flavor you can feel a tad bit of heat from the chilis but not what i was wanting, also not much on the cocoa, still worth a try though
